Phuket Event Company operates its own PA and DJ equipment fleet — we don't subcontract to a third-party audio company and mark up the price. When you rent sound equipment from us, our own technicians deliver it to your venue, set it up, carry out a full soundcheck, and stay on-site for the duration of your event.

Different events demand different audio approaches. Here is how we configure and operate for each event type.
Weddings
A Phuket wedding typically needs audio across two or three distinct phases: a ceremony (speech reinforcement, live music or background audio, wireless mic for the officiant), a cocktail hour (ambient music, subtle PA), and a reception or party (full DJ setup, dance floor system, dedicated DJ or playlist management).
We spec each phase separately, often combining a small ceremony PA with a full reception rig rather than over-engineering either. For beach ceremonies, we use directional speaker placement to manage sea wind and ambient noise. Wireless lapel microphones for the officiant and handheld for vows are standard.

Corporate Events
Corporate events — conferences, product launches, award ceremonies, and gala dinners — require clear speech intelligibility above all else, especially for non-native English speaking audiences where every word matters. Our Yamaha CL/QL digital consoles with built-in processing allow our engineers to optimise speech clarity in any venue acoustic.
For events that run a day session (conference) and evening session (dinner/party), we configure a single integrated system that handles both. The Yamaha CL5 handles complex multi-channel conference audio as effectively as it handles a DJ set later in the evening — one system, zero compromises.

Beach Parties
Beach events in Phuket are one of our most frequent bookings — and technically one of the most demanding. Wind, sand, humidity, uneven ground, no power infrastructure, and the ambient sound of waves all create challenges that indoor venues don't. We have deployed PA systems at virtually every beach in Phuket, from Bang Tao and Surin to Kata, Kamala, and private resort beaches.
We use outdoor-rated equipment throughout, position speakers to account for prevailing wind direction, run generator power where venue power is unavailable, and always bring additional cable runs and spare equipment because there is no nearby equipment store if something fails on a remote beach at 10pm.

How Our Delivery & Setup Service Works

Booking & Tech Rider
You share your event brief, venue, guest count, and programme. We send a technical recommendation with equipment list, crew plan, and quote within 24 hours. For venue visits (recommended for large or unusual locations) we send an engineer in advance at no charge.

Our crew arrives at the agreed load-in time — typically 2–4 hours before your event start. All equipment arrives in flight cases in our own vehicles. For beach events and difficult access venues we carry purpose-built trolleys and rigging equipment.

Installation & Soundcheck
Full system installation, cabling, speaker placement, and a complete soundcheck is completed before any guests arrive. For events with live performers or a hired DJ, we carry out a dedicated line check and monitor mix with them before doors open.

Our audio engineer stays on-site for the full event duration — managing levels, handling any wireless frequency issues, adapting to programme changes, and ensuring consistent sound quality from start to finish. You always have a direct point of contact in the room.

Yes. We regularly deliver and set up PA systems at beach venues across Phuket including Kata, Surin, Kamala, Bang Tao, Nai Harn, and private villa beach access points. Remote locations may require additional logistics planning and a carrying fee for difficult access — we assess each venue in advance and advise on any constraints before you confirm. We always carry generator power for locations without reliable venue power.
No — cables, stands, and the on-site technician are all included in the rental price. We don't itemise these separately. Every rental includes delivery to venue, full installation, cabling, soundcheck, a dedicated audio engineer on-site for the full event duration, and pack-down afterwards. The price you are quoted is the price you pay.
For standard bookings we need a minimum of 5–7 days. For large events or peak season weekends (December–April in Phuket, October–February in Bangkok) we recommend 4–6 weeks advance notice as equipment and crew availability fills quickly. Same-week bookings are sometimes possible — contact us and we will advise on current availability honestly.
Yes — outdoor and beach events are a core part of our work in Phuket. All outdoor-deployed equipment is suitable for Thailand's humid tropical climate. We weatherproof speaker mounts and cable entry points, position speakers to account for wind direction, and always carry spare equipment on-site for remote venues where no replacement is nearby. We also manage generator power for beach locations without reliable mains.
